for MOSHE ben Avraham, first of all if you think you know so much why dont you know the word of God,Stiff-necked people. Ex 32:9 And the Lord said to moses, "Ihave seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people.Ex 33:3 for i will not go up in your midst, lest i consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people. and you can read also:Ex 33:5, Ex 34:9, Deut 9:6 and Deut 9:13 this is were it talk abouth the Stiff-necked people, and God was talking to the nation of israel.God was ready to destroy the whole nationan because of their sin. But Moses pleaded for mercy, and God spared them. This is one of the countless examples in the Bible of God's mercy.although we deserve his anger,he is willing to forgive and restore us to himself. We can receive God's forgiveness from sin by asking him.Like Moses, we can pray that he will forgive others and use us to bring them the message in mercy .

In Christ Jesus, Jews and Gentiles become "one new man" through the cross of Jesus and by His blood, and both have access to God the Father, through His Spirit. (Ephesians 2:11-22) Jesus said, if you don't have the Son (Jesus) you don't have the Father (God the Father).

For Rich: I was aware it was from Tenakh, but not which book. LOL. Religious fanatics, don't you love them. I am sure I am right in that their is no hell. So, no I have no fears of eternal suffering and pain. I go with one interpretation of the afterlife as one in which a person that was not on his best behavior may have to see his life played out again and could see the many possibiltities that could have happened. What is a more grueling and terible punishment then that? But ultimately, this should last not long and you will be on your way to a better place. There are several people whom are "hell" worthy whom I wish to speak too and I doubt HaShem will deny me that. I would consider HaShem a cruel G-d if he allowed for an eternal hell for those partiularly bad. No is so evil that he/she cannot be saved.

Moshe said: "Behold for they are a stiffed necked people. Not sure where from" - uh, Moshe, it's from the Tanach. And yes, it *is* how God described us. Maybe you should argue with God.

I am in agreement with Noah and Jennifer and am asking you, dear brothers and sisters in Christ (including Rich, Cloaver & Susan), to keep these dear people: Moshe ben A., Mandy and Josh in your prayers. No argument can break the hardness of heart nor the walls of pride. "Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit" says the LORD Almighty. (Zechariah 4:6)---For them: ---Middle East: there will be no lasting peace without the Prince of Peace. See DVD "Forbidden Peace" ---Hell: I sure hope that you are right when you say that there is no hell. But if you are not, you are taking a big risk. For your soul's sake, please take a moment and ask G-d to show you. The question is: are you ready to stand before G-d's holiness? Will you tell Him: "I have kept the Law without fault"? Jesus said: "Has not Moses given you the Law? Yet none of you keeps the Law" (John 7:19) Yet G-d expects perfect score 100% of the time. Only One has done it: Y'shua. Trust in G-d's righteousness, not your own.

Cloaver: Want another great quote Christians like to throw around. Behold for they are a stiffed necked people. Not sure where from, but Christains use it to explain why Jews don't believe in Jesus. All I have to say is; damn right! We are proud for our stubborness; for that is how one survives for thousands of years.

Preface: I'm fairly ignorant concerning matters Christian and Jewish. Body: I don't understand all this fuss.If Y'Shua was and is the Messiah of G-d, resurrected from the dead;and if he was also a great Jew who fulfilled all the demands of Torah perfectly and without precedent;and if he, by bearing on his shoulders the sins of Israel and of all flesh, could single-handedly redraw the boundaries around Israel, meaning all who come to him seeking ultimate salvation are indeed, true Jews; then why is it so hard for someone who's Jewish to come to him to become a true Jew? It is not the children of the flesh who are the children of G-d but the children of the promise who are counted as offspring.

I want to say one more thing. Why do people feel a need to stand on the bones of other people's dead relatives to try to make themselves bigger than they actually are? Nobody should be cowed or manipulated by a bunch of bone waving - in order to make a point across or bullied into in spirituality that is not theirs. It's pretty low. In the US Jewish community, almost everyone has lost a relative or a friend in the Holocaust due to mass migration of Jews from Europe in the last century. That includes J4J members too. Since Judaism is identified as an ethnicity as well as a religion, why not Jewish Christians? Not everyone wants to be a sleepwalker. Some people actually want to read the bible and define their own Jewish spirituality on their own terms.

To Moshe the potential convert and Mandy the religious expert/prof., I converted when I married my jewish husband because for two reasons: 1) my dying stepfather, who by the way lost most of his relatives in the holocaust, told me "not to be a fool" and I will need to convert if I am marrying a jew. NOT to carry on the bloodline necessarily, but not to be a fool. Secondly, I was not going to be one of those many non-jewish parents who "oooh are too afraid of hell but hell is fine for the kids" and raise the kids jewishly without knowing the commitment. Matter of fact I am such a nice noveau jewish girl that I've asked my husband for a divorce after two years of marriage before any children are involved. Moshe if my stepdad was alive today he would've had a few words to you for comparing me to Stalin. Ignorance indeed! If you follow Judaism you know its the path of the few, not the many, so don't try to manipulate me into keeping it or saying otherwise. Shame on you both.
