My heart cries for joy when I read how others come to the Lord Jesus. I can't praise the Lord enough, esp. when Jews come to Him to, I do believe they are still the original olive branches, and He longs to graft them in. I do have one question to ask. What about the Sabbath. Do you's keep the Sabbath or Sunday. What has the Lord shown you's regards to this? I'm in the midst of questions,I have I other questions to, but this is enough for now. Sincerely Yours in Christ Jesus. May Hunt

Jack,
I'm not sure what to make of your story. You claim to have had no Jewish education to speak of, no connection to Judaism. And yet, when you walked into a Christian church, all of a sudden you were turned on to Judaism because the church service had borrowed one of its prayers from the Jewish liturgy.
The truth is, you were never turned on to Judaism. The closest you ever came was a Reform Temple. That isn't Judaism! As a Jew, you really ought to give the real thing a try.
But don't try to fool us, or yourself, into believing your Jewishness is expressed by going to a church, for goodness sakes!

Dear Jack,
Just when I think
the Lord cannot possibly be any greater or loving , I read your story. I am so happy for you and your family that you have found the love of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. It seems he has been with you all of your life, in medical school and beyond. As a young man you showed true Christian kindness to me, a very naive, young nurse. The seeds of virtue were growing within you even then. You have followed the path of Jesus Himself as you ministered to the sick. God Bless you Jack and your family. My prayers will be with you. Carol
( a BGH graduate and later a Nurse Practitioner)

Dear Jack.
How wonderful it was to read your testimony!.. It inspired me very much.
I fell in love with Jesus (and found my home in the catholic church although I love all of Jesus' congregations:) a few years ago as I came across the "True Life in God" books by Orthodox Vassula Rydén. (tlig.org) It was the love of Jesus that convinced me of His Truth and led me to the Bible and the Holy Communion.. and most importantly to a daily walk with Him and for Him. I have a great desire to tell everyone about His love. Especially the Jews and the Muslims. Your story witnesses to the importance of evangelization and will give me inspiration for my daily ministry among those who do not yet know the Love of Christ. Thanks and God bless you my brother.

I see from your comments that you had no Jewish background or education. That is the only way you could have been misled by misrepresentation, misquoted and mistranslated verses. This organization is not a religion. I is merely an entrapment to the uneducated and ignorant. I you would like to correspond and represent any scriptural facts we could discuss that.

Dr. Jack:
I saw in the Democrat-Gazette this morning that you were retiring. We brought my mom (Lucille) to you over twenty years ago because she had cancer. You partially related to me your story and I was impressed then, and more impressed now. God bless you in your seeking and finding and living the life that Jesus can give us to follow his father's teaching.
I would like to visit with you again sometime. Good luck in retirement and God bless.

Dr. Sterberg, A familiar story, although opposite one of mine. I, too, grew up spiritually "empty" learning all about xtianity going from one church to the other, including fellowship bible. xtianity led me down one dead end after another. Fortunately, with G-d's blessing, Judaism found me and I discovered the ultimate Truth in life. I am now a Jew and living a truly spiritual life..no glitz, no fame. I do have to say that living as an observant jew is not easy, but who says it it's suppose to be? It's so sad today many jews have fallen to the pressures of the goyim world to the point of assimilation... just to be accepted. One last thing, being jewish is not about us and how it makes us feel. Jews feeling empty has nothing to do with not knowing j..sus; This I know. I'm sincerely sorry that your former jewish surroundings did not properly nurture your jewish soul. It's just such a tragedy that the right rabbi wasn't there for you. Perhaps he came a little too late.
