Rosh Hashanah

Rosh Hashanah, commonly called the Jewish New Year (taking place in September), is a joyous time of celebration and at the same time a season of reflection and solemnity.

Taking place in the spring (around Easter) Passover is one of the most significant Jewish holidays. Passover, or Pesach in Hebrew, recalls and rejoices over the Israelites' redemption from slavery in Egypt.

Purim which takes place in February/March, commemorates how God used Esther to save our Jewish people from annihilation. For some, Purim is a day for practical jokes and noisy, uninhibited fun.
