Message from Lyn Rosen
Thanks for visiting here.  Know what I love about my work?  Seeing how the Lord is working in the lives of others.  Do you know a woman who would welcome a call from me to talk about Jesus the Jewish Messiah?  Please send me her name and numbers.

Bio & Testimony

Missionary Lyn Bond has been with Jews for Jesus since before there was a Jews for Jesus! She is the elder daughter of JFJ founders Moishe and Ceil Rosen. Her parents came to faith before Lyn had her second birthday. Lyn asked Jesus to be her Messiah when she was in first grade, and handed out Jews for Jesus style gospel literature with her father as early as the summer of 1969.

Lyn and her college sweetheart, Alan Bond, were wed one year after graduation. The two came on staff with Jews for Jesus in 1975 and, except for an eight-year maternity leave, Lyn has served on staff with the ministry ever since. When their daughter Bethany started kindergarten, Lyn went back to seminary and earned a master's degree in missiology.  The Bond's have two grown children and a son-in-law.  Asher is the oldest, then Bethany and her husband Gary.

Lyn has helped to train staff and volunteers for our New York City Summer Witnessing Campaign, but her main duty is one-on-one Bible studies with Jewish women who are interested in knowing more about Jesus the Messiah. In addition to one one one Bible studies with new and near believers in Jesus Lyn enjoys teaching a women's Bible study.

Shirley is one woman to whom Lyn has ministered.  Lyn was there when she prayed to recieve Jesus as her Messiah and they continued to study scripture together.  This year Shirley went home to be with the Lord and being part of her funeral service was a memorable event as Lyn was able to see how God used Shirley's faith in the lives of her family.

In 2002 while crossing in the cross walk on the very street where the Bonds live in Skokie Lyn was struck by a car.  She was taken to the emergency room with multiple broken bones, bleeding on the brain and various other injuries.  These past years have been an object lesson for Lyn as she has endured four surgeries and many out patient procedures.  She praises the Lord because among other things through this accident he has taught her that "..all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who  are the called according to his purpose." KJV Romans 8:28

Prayer and Support

Please pray that the Lord would guide me to women who want to know Jesus.   "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved" Romans 10:1.

While immediate family do believe in the Messiahship of Jesus;  there are uncles and cousins who don't.  Please pray that the Lord would bring them to acknowledge his salvation.
