A Relative's Witness

Section: Publications - January 1980 Newsletter (5740:4)

Recently, I was preaching in a church in Northern California, telling about our ministry. After the meeting, a man approached me with great sincerity. He desired to know how he might bear a witness to his Jewish brother-in-law who lived in Southern California. I briefly told him some of what he might do and say, and he seemed to understand my emphasis on being straightforward and sensitive. I assured him that I would pray for his brother-in-law.

Shortly after that, the Liberated Wailing Wall, one of our mobile evangelistic teams, held an evangelistic rally in Los Angeles. One of those who attended was that Jewish brother-in-law! After the Gospel was sung, after the Word of God was preached, after the meeting was over, he came to testify as to his recent conversion. Sure enough, it was through the witness of the man I met at that Northern California meeting!

Praise God for tactful and courageous relatives who are willing to risk disapproval by witnessing to Jews who are close to them, for by such, many have found eternal life.
