Who am I?
I was an atheist who came to know Messiah through a dear friend, and the idea of living for eternity in hell was not my idea of a wonderful afterlife! Before that, I lived contently in ignorance, striving for worldly things in hopes that I would find the meaning of life. But God had another agenda for me. Through His grace and mercy, I came to recognize that I am a sinner, and that above all things I needed HIM. On January 1st, 1997, I declared that Jesus the Messiah was my Lord and Saviour, and I had the assurance that my sins were forgiven by His death on the cross.
I have been a Christian for a little over 5 years now, and I must say that life certainly doesn't turn out the way you would expect it to! From the last five years, I learned that what God wants for me is to have a personal intimate relationship with Him. No matter what happens in my life, He is right there with me. My dream now is to live a life of obedience to Him. He has developed in me a servant heart, with a passion for evangelism. Life with Messiah has certainly changed me from the inside out! I am a child of God.
