Stan & Holly Meyer are missionaries with Jews for Jesus in Los Angeles where Stan serves as the Los Angeles area director.
Stan was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. At age nine, his messianic-Jewish mother Joyce led him to a personal faith in the Messiah (Jesus). Though both were messianic Jews, Stan kept his faith secret throughout High School and into college until he became involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. In his Sr. year at the University of Texas in Austin, he rededicated his life to Jesus, and felt called to bring the Messiah to his Jewish people. Stan graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and came on staff with Jews for Jesus that same year. In 1990, Stan married Holly Coulsting, a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Jewish and Modern Israel Studies. The Meyers traveled a year and a half with the Jews for Jesus’ singing group The Liberated Wailing Wall, and served as missionaries in Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale. In May, 2005, the Meyers flew to the Jiangxi province of China where they adopted Carrie-Fu.
