Shining Light in the Darkness

How We’re Responding to War in Israel

Our people are in crisis. Mothers and babies, fathers and sons, young and old have been kidnapped, tortured, and murdered. As Jewish believers in Jesus in Israel and around the world, we have been directly and deeply impacted. We have lost loved ones, been displaced from our homes, been called to active military duty, and experienced rising antisemitism in our local communities. Our hearts are heavy, but our faith in Jesus compels us to help.

In Israel, along with local congregations and ministry partners, we’re sending up to 5,000 care packages every week, full of food and necessities to displaced Jewish and Arab families. We’re providing resources for children who have been traumatized by violence, helping house displaced families, and offering comfort and prayer to all who are hurting right now.

In our words and in our actions, we’re sharing the love and hope we’ve found in the Messiah—the one who has come to bind up the brokenhearted, and to give peace to our hearts, even when there is none in our world. Our calling as Jewish people is to be a light in the world. We will never allow evil to take that from us. In the darkness, our light only shines brighter.
