Short-Term Opporunites Overview

Behold Your God Israel Campaign [Apply Now]

Dates: spring and fall
Area: Israel
Cost: $500 per week plus airfare
We have set out to share the gospel with Israelis throughout the land of Israel over the next five years. Each spring and fall we are holding a large-scale evangelistic campaign in a different region in Israel. We are looking for Jewish believers who are able-bodied and ready to share their faith. Each participant will complete evangelism training in Israel. This training will equip them to go out on the streets and share the gospel with Israelis. We use tracts and engage people one-on-one in dialogue about Y'shua. When Israelis hear from other Jewish people that Y'shua is the Messiah, it has a huge impact on how our witness is received in the land.

Summer Witnessing Campaign [Apply Now] [Details]

Dates: July
Area: New York
Cost: $500 per week plus airfare
A team of 20-30 Jewish believers who are trained in Jewish evangelism go out on the streets of New York to put that training into practice. They will spend two weeks at Moody Bible Institute* learning the essentials of street evangelism including handing out evangelistic literature, engaging people with the gospel, answering objections to Jesus, and employing messianic apologetics. After training, the team heads to New York City where they form a community committed to sharing their faith with professionals, artists, musicians, students and tourists—the richest and the poorest—of those who crowd the streets of New York City.
* Students can receive college credit for the evangelism training at Moody.

Campaign Steward [Apply Now] [Details]

Dates: spring, fall and July
Area: New York or Israel
Cost: $500 per week plus airfare
This opportunity is for believers from any background who wish to serve God behind the scenes by enabling. A steward fills the much needed support role for either the Behold Your God Israel campaigns or the Summer Witnessing Campaigns. The role includes doing anything from helping out with stuffing tract bags, shopping for food or supplies, meal preparation, laundry, or running local errands. The goal is to be part of the support team that keeps the daily functions of the campaign running. Like the campaigners, stewards work within a team and have on-the-job training. Being in good physical health is needed, as there are many activities to carry out.

Massah [Apply Now] [Details]

Dates: June - August
Area: Israel & India
Cost: $2,800 including airfare
College age: 18-24
Massah is a short-term ministry program focused on helping college-aged Jewish believers in Jesus to understand their identity, bond with each other in community, and follow God's calling as witnesses to the people of Israel. After seven weeks in Israel, Massah continues traveling for several weeks to strategic destinations in order to encounter Israeli travelers along the way with the hope of sharing the gospel.

Camp Gilgal [Apply Now] [Details]

Dates: summer (1-2 weeks)
Area: West, Midwest and East
Cost: varies
Children and Youth
This is a unique opportunity for children of Jewish believers to learn about their Messiah and heritage with other children from a similar background. Most children who attend Camp Gilgal have at least one parent who is a Jewish believer in Jesus, but many have few, if any, other relatives who are believers. We want them to come away knowing what it means to have a relationship with the Lord and to grow personally. Camp counselors and other support staff are always needed.

Halutzim [Apply Now] [Details]

Dates: last two weeks in July
Area: New York
Cost: $600 plus airfare
Ages: 16-18
This is a two-week mission trip for high school age Jewish believers in New York City. This opportunity is similar to the Summer Witnessing Campaign but is shorter and geared towards younger students. Those participating will receive evangelism training and experience, a taste of Jewish New York, time to fellowship with other Jewish believers, and Biblical discipleship to help them seek God's direction for their lives.

Jesus was much more than a Prophet. Jesus was the word made flesh that dwelt among men. Take the highest title and use among the world. They world will use the lowest title. The will refer to him as Prince, not King or Son of Man, not Son of God. Make great his name. The award is for those who endure until the end. Peace and blessing.
