Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus!

The Kiev branch of Jews for Jesus began in 1997. Kiev is the capital of Ukraine and the largest city in this country. Around 3 million people currently reside in Kiev. This city also has the largest Jewish community in Ukraine, around 100,000.

Our ministry is oriented towards bringing salvation to the Jewish people of Kiev. We reach around 1,100 Jewish families a year. We visit many of them repeatedly, bringing the Gospel and studying the Scriptures with them, until such time as they come to believe in Y'shua.

We are also actively involved in street evangelism, distributing 500,000-550,000 gospel tracts annually. We also make around 3,000 phone calls to Jewish men and women a year. In addition, we also organize Saturday Bible studies, which we call Shabbats. Around 50 people, most of them Jewish, attend them on a weekly basis.

For believers, we have home Bible studies and prayer meetings.

Our deepest desire is that every Jewish person in Kiev would not just hear about Messiah Jesus but would also receive Him as his/her personal Lord and Savior.

Please support us in prayer that the Lord would fill our work even more with His Holy Spirit and that we would reach many more Jewish hearts for Y'shua. Specifically we ask prayer for the following things:

  1. The awakening of the Jewish Diaspora* of Kiev;
  2. The strengthening of our relationships with churches and messianic congregations of Kiev;
  3. Our ability to carry the Gospel in new creative ways;
  4. The purchase of our own office place in Kiev;
  5. The strengthening of relations between the Jews for Jesus staff in Kiev and our volunteers.

In Y'shua,

Anatoly Emma
