Knowing God

No one can ever get saved by the mere click of a button. But you can get saved by believing God's word and receiving His free gift of salvation in Y'shua, Jesus the Messiah. Here are four statements from the Bible that you need to believe in and agree to in order to get saved.

1. The Bible says:

The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. They have all turned aside, they have together become corrupt; [There is] none who does good, No, not one" (Psalm 14:2-3). "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

"I agree with the Bible and admit before God that I am a sinner. I do not meet God's standard of goodness. I know that I can never be good enough on my own."

Jesus said to Paul:

"I will rescue you from your people and from the Gentiles—to whom I am sending you to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me." (Acts 26:17-18, NRSV)

So, if you believe that "baptism" was required for you to get saved, you added your "good works" to the work of Christ. He said: “It is finished.” (John 19:30, NRSV)

Baptism is very good as a sign of obedience, but it is just a meaningful sign.

Will You accept His work? :-)

Once you pray this prayer understand that once Jesus saves you because you sincerely trusted on him,you cannot lose your salvation.Once your saved you will always be saved.(remember lot and samson?)its not about trusting in our own righteousness to save us but trusting the righteousness God has provided for us.which is his only begotten son, without sin, without blemish.
Jesus said -
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

HI I once read, lived this prayer even preached it but there is more. This prayer is the equivalent of the sacrificed in the old testament, but the sacrifice jesus did was the only blood that can take away not cover the sins and this blood had to be applied in baptism the revelation is complted when we not onlyaccept him but also accept his sacrifice and apply the bood of the lamb of God
