Rob grew up in a Jewish family that escaped the Holocaust. All of his immediate family have come to know Jesus one by one. You can read their story.
Rob received a Master of Music degree in Viola Performance from the Manhattan School of Music before coming on staff with Jews for Jesus. He has since gotten a master's degree in Missiology with an emphasis on Jewish Studies, earned at Fuller Seminary's School of World Mission.
Rob now heads up our San Francisco branch of Jews for Jesus. He has also led three of our Behold Your God Campaigns in Los Angeles, San Diego and Phoenix as well as several of our New Year’s outreaches at the Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl game.
He enjoys sharing from the Word at churches as well as using his musical gifts and telling the dramatic testimonies of the Wertheim family. Rob and his wife Sandra, also a Jewish believer, have three children; Saul, Rose and Josh.
